Daily News
My vision in photos and music. A running notebook of images, small observations and the things that keep me looking through the viewfinder.
The notebook
This is the more personal corner of the portfolio: a place for memories, hobbies and photography news rather than a formal gallery. Entries gather around the subjects I return to most — landscapes, abstract details, people and the urban scene.
Alongside the photographs, the notes touch on music, excursions, night photography and the small everyday moments that end up in a frame. Think of it as a diary kept in pictures.
For the curated collections, the gallery holds the subject-based work, while projects gathers the themed series.
This notebook is where the camera steps back and the looking continues. Rather than a formal gallery, it gathers the quieter side of the work: memories that stayed, hobbies that keep the eye busy, and small pieces of photography news worth passing along. Entries drift between landscapes, abstract shapes, portraits and the urban scene, following whatever drew attention that week. Sometimes a note begins with a photograph and sometimes with a thought that only later finds its frame. The aim is simple and unhurried, to keep a running record of what the viewfinder keeps returning to, and to let those observations sit together without needing to be finished or tidy.
Music runs alongside the images here, often shaping how a scene is seen before the shutter is pressed. A song can change the pace of a walk, soften a street corner, or make a familiar view feel new again. Excursions feed the same habit, whether a long drive, a slow afternoon in an unfamiliar town, or a short walk with no plan at all. Night photography holds a particular pull, when the light thins and ordinary places turn strange and patient. These notes follow those threads loosely, treating the camera as a way of paying attention rather than a way of collecting, and letting each outing leave its own small mark.
Much of what appears here comes from the everyday: a passing gesture, a changing sky, a texture noticed on the way somewhere else. The daily habit of carrying a camera teaches the eyes to peer into small places and to absorb the sights that are easy to walk past. Over time those fragments gather into something like a personal timeline, one that moves between the playful and the contemplative without forcing a theme. Visitors are welcome to wander through the entries in any order, linger on whichever images catch their attention, and treat the whole thing as an open invitation to look a little more closely at the world close at hand.

Reading list
One of the notes shared here is a round-up of one hundred autumn photographs, gathered to inspire and to encourage exploring nature as the season turns.
Seasonal light is a recurring theme in the notebook — the same instinct that shapes the landscape and abstract work elsewhere on the site.
If you would like to know more about the person behind the camera, the about page covers the background and the philosophy.
